Shimmering Expanse is the best place to farm Azshara's Veil. The reason why I like this place is because Abyssal Depths is really close, so if you run into competition you can just switch to the other zone.
This is place is almost just as good as Shimmering Expanse, there is no major difference between these two zones. Tol Barad Peninsula is also a great place to farm Azshara's Veil, but I would recommend it only for those who have some kind of water walking ability like Death Knigts and Shamans, or Druids with aquatic form.

Comment by cmxiv If you're in Tol Barad, you can easily navigate by mounting, autorun, and hold down space on the surface of the water.
Comment by Mitex If you got the Val'Shir Seahorse from quest you should stick to Kelp'thar Forest, this is where you got alot of veils in a small spot, can just swim around in sircles and farm, other Val'Shir spots means alot more swimming for the herbs, Tol Barad is also a good spot, but as some comments say, need waterwalking, either from skill or Waterstrider mount from Anglers in Pandoria.

It maintains a WoW addon called the Wowhead Looter , which collects data as you play the game! It uploads the collected data to Wowhead in order to keep the database up-to-date! Comment by siq1ne A couple things to note about this lovely herb, and it's counterpart Stormvine for us Vasj farmers - Stormvines are always found near plantlife, whereas Azshara's Veil is more than likely going to be in the middle of nowhere on the ocean floor.
Also, RoboNoobs lovely map is a genius place to farm such herb if it's not being overworked. A couple things to note about RoboNoob's map though; The area he has "greened" out to the north is where I find a nice chunk of my Azshara's Veil next to annoying mobs - Add that to your path. Below L'ghorek is where you will find Ghostcrawler- If you're out there farming you might as well make sure to be in a BM spec incase you find him for easy taming.
He is lvl 85 and he is immune to traps and such. Sorry for my sarcasm, I hate farming this herb.. Will get back to you when I reach my goal. Comment by Tahuma If you swim fast or walk on water, Tol Borad Peninsula has some in the rivers and by the pirate cove in the water. I do however find alot in the small "river" that separates "Darkwood" from the rest.. Comment by Mamona There also appears to be quite a few of these in the more naga-populated parts of Shimmering expanse.
I saw about 4 herb-tracking dots. But when I searched the ocean floor, I only found a few naga, who weren't happy that I was trying to pick the flowers in their backyard.
I don't know wheter it's just my druid's myopia or it's really a bug, but I found it annoying. After swimming a few times back and forth between the dots, still not finding what they were supposed to be marking, I decided to search the herb elsewhere.
Does somebody else have this problem? EDIT: Ok, for those who do have the same problem: the naga build on different 'floors'. If it's not where you look, it's probably on a rock above or under you. I farm Told Barad for this, since the waterways where it's found are all linked. Pretty easy to cover and collect for this herb as a Druid. Comment by I just fished up 8 in Uldum - not as herbs to gather, I'm not a herbalist, as a fishing drop from fathom eel swarms. I fished slightly over 3 stacks of eels, so about 70 casts, and pulled up 1 or 2 Azshara's Veils every 15 casts or so on average. I didn't even notice I was occasionally pulling up two - I was only going for 5 to level alchemy.
This took a while, but the volatile water and the fathom eels should get me about g. It would have been far cheaper and quicker to just earn enough to buy the Azshara's Veil. Comment by Neroli Uldum failed me for Azshara's veil searching Which I plan to sell in the Auction House.
