I'm playing some of the missions and I'm on the one where I'm looking for a baby elephant. My spotter is giving me directions some of which make no sense and after he's spotted the elephant he says to land next to the truck.

What elephant??? What truck??? FS is drawing trees out to the horizon but it won't draw mission critical items. Is there anything I can do to improve the draw distance of important objects?
